Legal fiction writing contests are few and far between, but this one sponsored by the ABA Journal has been a big hit. Writers interested in entering the Journal/Ross Writing Contest for Short Fiction should craft a tale of no more than 5,000 words that highlight the law or lawyers in modern society. Only one entry per author.
The winning entry will receive $3,000, but you’d better get started stating your case – contest entries are due by June 30, 2014.
Check out the ABA Journal’s website for the full contest rules and entry form.
