Creative Loafing runs some great writing contests. The publication has announced it is accepting submissions for its second annual flash fiction contest. This year’s theme calls for coming-of-age stories based in Charlotte, NC.
Keep your story between 300 and 1,000 words and you could get publication in the newspaper along with the top prize of $200. Submissions are due by December 6, 2013.
